Self-care is on the top of my to-do list for 2020. As a working mom of two little divas it can be easy to put off self-care. I have dedicated Sundays to give myself a little extra pampering! I decided to pick up some skincare products from a company called Mielle Organics to incorporate in my skincare routine. They are originally known for their bomb.com natural hair care products, and if you are a dedicated naturalista like I am then you have probably heard about them.
I absolutely love their hair care products and I share some of my hair care faves from this brand in My Top Holy Grail Hair Products I’m Taking to 2020 video! The products work amazing in my hair, so it wasn’t a hard choice for me to trust their skincare line. The company was having a HUGE sale and I picked up these products with my own coins! This is not a sponsored post! I bought the entire collection, except for one item.

First Impressions
I ordered the products from https://mielleorganics.com/. The brand was having a sale where all skin care was $7!! Did you see the original prices?? I love the fact that there isn’t any extra discount codes you have to put in order to receive the discount. Ordering was super simple! I received the products 6 days after I ordered it…. and the packaging was to die for! I am a sucker for packaging!
I used the products in the order listed above (I didn’t purchase the stretch mark cream). Lets talk about the 2-IN-1 Face Scrub and Cleanser! The product claims to gently exfoliate the skin and cleanses the pores. First of all lets talk about the smell! I love it. It smells like pomegranate with a hint of honey.
The texture is creamy with a hint of grittiness. When I first applied it on my skin, I could feel the exfoliating beads working. I also felt a light cooling sensation on the skin. The feeling was AMAZING! The website states that you can use this twice a day. I am no skincare expert, but I felt that the exfoliating cleanser may be a little too harsh on my skin to use twice a day.
Mielle Organics Skincare Routine
The next product I applied was the Hydrating Face Mask. The mask is BLACK-BLACK lol. It has no smell and the application is smooth. I left the mask on my skin for the recommended time, which was 5-7 minutes.The mask was easy to apply and easy to rinse off. My skin felt really clean and it removed some of the dullness I noticed before I started my skincare that day.
I was super exited to try the Revitalizing Face Serum. This serum claims to moisturize and hydrate the skin and that it did! It has a lighter smell than the face scrub and it is very lightweight.
I have oily skin so I was a little skeptical, BUT my face did not get excessively oily. My face actually felt really soft after applying this serum and it did not take long for it to absorb into my skin.

The last product I put on my face was the Illuminating Face Lotion w/ SPF 15. When I squeezed the product out it was thick and creamy. It legit looks and feel like sunscreen. A little goes a long way. I’m not going to lie I was scared to try this! As I mentioned before, my skin is very oily. Any product that says illuminating, Im like ehh! I applied small little dots all over my face and rubbed the product in. Immediately I noticed a white cast on my skin, but that quickly went away. Once all the product absorbed into my skin, my face had a healthy glow! It wasn’t shiny at all.
Overall for my first impressions, I was highly impressed with my skincare routine with Mielle Organics. I will continue to use them on a regular basis and keep ya’ll updated on the results of my skin! Oh and by the way she is having a sale on her skincare collection right now! You better hurry!!!
