Fab Looks of the Day: Pink Glam

Today, I’m going to show you my pink glam makeup look of the day. It was super easy to create and is perfect for anytime of the day. Perfecting the art of makeup has been quite challenging for me. I am definitely a late bloomer when it comes to wearing makeup! In fact, I actually started dibbling and dabbling in different makeup looks just over the past few years and I am in my thirty’s—I’m telling my age, haha!

I love creating different neutral makeup looks, so this pink glam was definitely a little step out of my comfort zone! It came out so beautiful and I’m glad I recorded it! You can find the full tutorial on my YouTube Channel.

Face

For this pink glam look, I wanted to make sure I went with a full coverage foundation. I used one of my favorite foundations by Makeup Revolution. This foundation is lightweight and the shade F13 matches my complexion perfectly.

I used a full coverage concealer, Tarte Shape Tape in the color “Tan Sand.” I have yellow undertones, so this shade works flawlessly for me. To set the concealer, I used my favorite baking powder by Beauty Bakerie. I used their Flour Powder in the shade “Yellow.” I absolutely love this setting powder because it is photo ready — no flashback!

Anytime I am doing a glam look, I make sure to contour. I have to make sure my face looks snatched! I used the Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette in the color Dark/Deep. To finish off the face, I dusted my M.A.C Mineralize Skin Finish (Deep) face powder everywhere and it gave my face a filtered effect.

Carli Bybel Shades: Aura & Stev

Eye Look

My eye look was very simple, as I stated before I am a beginner. I used two palettes by Anastatsia Beverly Hills. I intended to only use the Carli Bybel palette, but I couldn’t find a crease color that was dark enough for my complexion, so I pulled out my favorite eyeshadow palette, which is the Jackie Aina X Anastasia palette. In that palette, I used the shade “Chocolate” in my crease, and feathered it all the way to the outer corner of my eye. For my eyelid I used the color “Aura” from the Carli Bybel palette. I dusted “Stev” over my crease and that was the eye look.

Beacuse I wanted to step up my pink glam look, I added false lashes by Kiss in the style “Soir”. The eyelash band is very easy to work with, so this lash is great for beginners like myself! I used a black liner to line my waterline and applied mascara.

Lip Combo

If you follow me on my many different platforms, then you already know I love nude lips, well for this pink glam look I had to step it up. I used the Maybeline, Hot Vivid Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer lip gloss in the shade “Sassy.” This gloss is very pigmented. I wanted a frosty look to go with my eyelids, so I added a matte cream lip color called Lavish by Milani, in the center.
