I am a mother of two girls. I have an 11 year old ( Maylen) and an eighteen month old (Mackenzie). As you can see there is a HUGE age gap between the girls! Restarting motherhood has been a challenge! So many things have changed since I had Maylen, from baby items to me in general as a person! It was a huge adjustment, but let’s just say we are adjusting! One of the must have baby essentials that I spent a lot of time researching was the diaper bag! I am a busy mom — usually always on the go, so I had to find a bag to compliment my busy lifestyle.
After weeks of searching, I finally decided on the Skip Hop Greenwhich Simply Chic diaper bag. I chose the rose color, I don’t know if you can tell but pink is my absolute favorite color!

Diaper Bag Organization
Now that I’ve listed all of the must-have essentials in my toddler’s diaper bag, let me share how I keep it all organized. Since there are so many pockets, it’s easy for me to stay organized. The front pouch is filled with the first aid essentials, such as the thermometer, bandaids and Tylenol.
In the main compartment of the bag, I store the change of clothes at the bottom of the bag, and layer everything accordingly to the need of the item. For example, Diapers and wipes will essentially be at the top, since I will probably use those frequently. Snacks and water are stored in the pouches inside the bag. My mommy essentials are also stored in one of the pockets inside the bag.
When we are done with our mommy daughter adventures, the bag remains packed. I buy the frequently used baby items in bulk, so I always have separate toddler essentials for at home. I always do a quick check to see what needs to be added and we are out the door!
