When it comes to fashion, I am always looking to find stylish and trendy clothing, but on a budget. I was so happy when I found online stores, such as Shein and Boohoo. These online stores have the latest affordable trendy clothing for your wardrobe. This is my third time ordering from SHEIN and I wanted to give you the deets on my shopping experience and the clothing. SHEIN QUALITY
The most frequent question I get asked about Shein is “how is the quality of the clothing?” For the price, the quality is great! Most of the items are durable and are stitched appropriately. Some clothing material is very thin, but that can be expected since it is sold at a very low price.
SHEIN SIZING
When it comes to sizing, ordering online can be tricky . To be completely honest, the sizing can be a hit or miss. I usually look at the material and order a size between a medium or large. Some clothing is too big, but for the most part I’ve been really lucky to be able to guess the appropriate sizing.
Pro Tip: Look at size guides on their website. Also look at YouTube videos or Pinterest boards featuring clothes from Shein .
SHEIN SHIPPING
Shipping rates will vary, depending on the weekly promotion. Free shipping is usually given after you reach a certain order amount. There is also an option for expedited shipping. Standard shipping usually takes about 7 days. Due to the recent pandemic, my last order was placed on May 8th, and it didn’t arrive until May 26th. This was the longest it has ever taken my order to arrive, however on their website they explain to expect shipping delays due to the global pandemic.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I have found a lot of cute and trendy gems from Shein. Some items were hits and some were definitely misses. Because the clothing is affordable I didn’t deem it as an unsucessful shopping experience. I’d say give them a try!
