I remember it like it was yesterday: I was on maternity leave, after just having my youngest daughter. I wasn’t getting much financial support from her other half and I was looking for a way to earn additional income. I ran across a masterclass that stated you can earn money as an influencer. After much thought, I signed up for “Paid Pitch,” which taught creators how to secure brand deals.

My mindset quickly shifted from “I think I can do it” to “I have what it takes to get it done.” I faced some of my greatest struggles, but I overcame them by taking my power back.  Creating content became my outlet. When I was creative, I felt my best. This was also the year I started making power moves and that was, “I bet on myself.”

I had been consistently creating content. I was chosen for my FIRST Brand Ambassadorship! I was so excited because this was on my top priority list, and I DID IT. This was only the beginning… AND then the pandemic hit. I was working from home, so I was able to become clearer on what I wanted my brand message to be. I rebranded successfully and continued to perfect my craft.

I started to see the rewards from all of my growing pains. I continued to build a platform that had an engaged  audience. I networked and met some amazing women. These women helped me reach my potential and become the creator I had aspired to become. With that I was able to develop new skills and launch my first eBook and started offering branding and web design services!
